Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and intelligent intern to join our team as an M&A research intern. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our team, supporting project execution and contributing to various facets of our M&A services. The role focuses on executing client projects, notably supporting screening and preparing deliverables for the client. A big part of the work is automated, notably on data mining, allowing you to focus as much as possible on value-added tasks.

A background in Engineering is a plus and could lead to larger scope and focus on the Tech side.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and executing client projects, with a focus on our screening service.
• Conduct market research and analysis to support client engagements and internal processes development.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality client reports and presentations.
• When relevant and based on your skillset, utilize SQL or Python to automate data screening processes and enhance project efficiency.
• Support system improvements, data analysis, and tool optimization.
• Participate in internal meetings, providing administrative support and contributing to strategic discussions.
• Take on special projects and tasks as assigned, based on your competencies and interests.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Finance
• Clear interest in Strategy Consulting, M&A and Private Equity (previous experience in these activities is a plus)
• Business proficiency in French and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive, with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
